About Me

I was born on the 22nd of June 1977 in Tunis, Tunisia. I received my Diploma degree in June 2004 from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, where I studied Computer Science (major field of study) and Electrical engineering (minor field of study). I have performed my master thesis titled "Anforderungsanalyse, Entwurf und Implementierung eines web-basierten Entscheidungsunterstützungs-systems für SE Improvement Management" at the Fraunhofer Institut für Experimentelles Software Engineering (IESE) in Kaiserslautern. On October 1st, 2004 I started my PhD research at the DEEDS group, at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, under the supervision of Prof. Neeraj Suri. I successfully graduated and defended my PhD thesis titled "Perturbation-Resilient Atomic Commit Protocols for Mobile Environments" in September 2010.
